Here are the top 3 reported rookie errors:


  1. Not getting enough ground clearance at the boat ramp before applying throttle and sucking up stones, damaging the impeller and/or wear ring.

  2. Sucking up the skiing / sea biscuit rope into the jet pump. And then turning the ski upside down to cut it out.. 😧

  3. Forgetting to charge the battery over winter. Resulting in a $200 battery purchase for next season.
