What's that 1 thing you wish you knew..
What's that one thing you wish you knew before you purchased your first jet ski? Did you have a bad first ride experience? Suck up a stone in the first 1 minute?
Here are the top 3 reported rookie errors:
Not getting enough ground clearance at the boat ramp before applying throttle and sucking up stones, damaging the impeller and/or wear ring.
Sucking up the skiing / sea biscuit rope into the jet pump. And then turning the ski upside down to cut it out.. 😧
Forgetting to charge the battery over winter. Resulting in a $200 battery purchase for next season.
We've got more of these rookie errors to avoid in our 2024 NZ Used Jetski Buyers Guide.
